I don't care about the Grammys. The last time i watched them was at my college bar. Old Dirty Bastard stored the stage and Shawn Colvin had a horrified look on her face. That being said, I'm on the fence as to weather or not think of Justin Vernon of Bon Iver as a douchebag or not for his decision to not play the Grammys this year. He's nominated for 4 awards and was asked to play , but refused because he wasn't comfortable with a collaborative appearance. On one hand he is standing up for artistic integrity, but on the other the other the move reeks of pretension. What do you think?

I thought their SNL performance reeked of self-importance. On the one hand, awesome, you care about your music. On the other hand, I don't like their music. So...I'm going with "douche who means well but doesn't know any better."
