THE RETURN OF WILEY WIGGINS

Yes, Wiley Wiggins, the boy wonder of such Richard Linklater film classics as Dazed and Confused and Waking Life, for those of who you may not know, is a member of a five (occassionally six) piece band based out of his beloved Austin, Texas called the Diagonals. They have an album coming out in February on Monofonus Press Records called Valley of the Cyclops, and it is most certainly as Roky Erickson-esque as the title implies, with a little UFO Club-era Pink Floyd thrown in.

Wiggins plays keyboards with the band and, while his acting career appears to be on the backburner for now, he is currently enjoying a prosperous career in web design and video editing, having worked with Linklater on the animation for Waking Life (see below) as well as providing visuals for the 2006 South by Southwest Festival and the band Octopus Project among a host of other ventures.
