And for $1! On vinyl! It was at a place called Old Friends, a small secondhand shop in Hardwick, VT Michele and I passed through en route to a hike at Lake Caspian with her aunt and uncle. Also picked up the first Palace Brothers on CD for $5. Yes kids, it certainly does pay to hit the thrift store in these digital times. Now I can truly feel hip enough to run my own music magazine, having Slint's Spiderland on wax. -Ed.
